To the Lightpost- A Running Log. Friday Night Lights Reading Adventure. Review of The Astronaut Wives Club by Lily Koppel. I bought it at work. I had a great time reading this book! It read like a novel, but it was a well-researched non-fiction history on a topic that surprisingly had never been covered before. Koppel conducted interviews with the surviving Astrowives and read the usual primary source documents.

At some point games took a more narrative root. This came from the movies with some games stylized to look like a movie. Some games even restrict you in what you can do to give you more of that movie feel.

In class it was mentioned that certain video games, probably some of the ones I mentioned, are now getting the budgets of Hollywood movies to make a minute in a half trailers to hype up all the gamers. Then there are dinky little flash and pixel indie games, created by gamers at home.
